Belated MAC Haul

So with the anticipation of MAC's "To the Beach Collection", I made sure to save up some money in order to score a few items, well a few things.

MAC  To The BEACH  HAUL

What I Got:

Marine Life Highlight Powder, Hipness Blush, Shimmermoss e/s, Firecracker e/s, Sweet & Punchy e/s.
(not pictured as these were bought later: Thrills lipstick, Scorcher polish)

Eyeshadow Swatches:

Marine Life Highlight Powder

Hipness Blush

Overall I liked this collection and especially love the packaging.  The Green is a nice color, perfect for summer! There was plenty more that I could have bought but I didn't, knowing that I wouldn't use them all.  This collection consists of bright colors and bronze powders which is definitely great for a summer look.  I intended to buy the Beach Bag, but gosh, for the price I did not get it.  Hopefully it will reach the CCO's and I"ll get them there, hehe.  As for the Marine Life Highlight Powder, wow that thing sold out in matter of hours.  I tried to score one online, and I didn't even have a chance.  Good thing I had one on hold for me at the store, yikes, for a powder that loses its gold sheen in just a few swipes, it sold out like crazy.  I'll have swatches up soon for it!  I know MAC has been updating the website with new stock of some items, so definitely get them while you can before it is gone!

What did you get from this Collection?

Where are you?

Its June already! Seems like the year is going by Oh So Fast! hasn't it?  For me it has.

Sorry everyone for being MIA and posting less than usual.  Summer Classes has hit me hard, and its a lot to handle when working full time and going to school full time.  I just want to come home and knock out on the bed.  Hopefully after this month, Blogging will resume to normal and I will definitely post up so much more.

I definitely have lots of things to blog about, just not enough time devoted to it.  Stay tuned!

Help me out Girls!

Have you tried these masks before?

I got them awhile back as a gift from a blogger, but never tried them.  They look amazing, but let me know what you think of them!  I'll hopefully do a proper review of them once I try them.

Summer Nude - FOTD

Neutrals, nudes, bare faced, seems like the trend this season.  Many colors are being very minimal in color selection and are going for the natural bare faced look.  This is definitely a trend that I like and I think fits for most people.

Summer Nude

Close ups of the eyes and cheeks:

Products used:

F: MUFE HD foundation, Sonia Kashuk concealer, MAC Instant Chic Blush, Bobbi Brown Shimmerbrick Platinum Pink

E: Smashbox lid primer, MAC Sable & Shroom eyeshadow, Smashbox Eyelights palette. MAC brown liner, studio fix mascara, Essence brow powder

L: MAC 2n lipstick, Nars striptease lipgloss

For me, I think that subtlety is best when trying to do a natural look.  You don't want to do an over exaggerated look, nor a bland one.  I'm not sure if I was able to achieve the look, but I hope I did.  All I needed was just a slight sweep of color on the eye, nude lips, and light pink shimmer on the cheeks. Its always cool to add in color but natural/nude looks are versatile and  easy to do.  No stress!

Gucci Muchi Pucci!

Its been awhile! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days now! I've been super busy with work and summer classes (you all know how those goes) so I've been playing catch up with bloggin and everything.

Here's a quick Nails of the Week for you all:

Gucci Muchi Pucci
"A Creamy Luscious Pink with a Kiss of Mauve"
~Essie

Here's mine:

more pics:

This is my first ESSIE nail polish! I do adore the color and its such pretty pink with a kiss of mauve. Though it was a bit streaky at first and hard to apply, after a few coats it was fine.  I think I applied like 3 coats to get a good even and opaque color, but I'm sure it will look nice with just 2 coats especially if you're going for a lighter feel.  The polish stayed on well for a few days and was pretty good at not chipping that much.  So far so good for me on Essie products.  Hopefully I can get more in the near future!
