January Sephora Haul

For my Graduation gift, my SIL's gave me a Sephora Gift Card since they know I love makeup and I can be picky as well.  I originally already spent tons when Sephora had their F&F sale, so I didn't know what else to get.  I got a few things that were on sale and what I've been lemming for.

Here's a quick look:

Tokidoki Palette, Benefit One Prime Day Set, SephoraOPI Metro Chic, Tarte Blush

All opened up for you to SEE!

I'm on the fence with a few of the products. I swatched some of the eyeshadows from the Tokidoki Palette and I'm not sure I'm loving it. I may end up giving it to my sister or returning it for something else at Sephora.  I used some of the Benefit primers, but haven't used it enough or maybe long enough.  I still have to use Metro Chic, but from what I heard its a nice taupe color, hopefully it suits my skin color well.  As for the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy, I think I ordered the wrong color. It looks too orangey for me, as I thought from swatches it would be more of a coral color.  I'll probably return it for a different color as I've been wanting to try the Tarte blushes.

Let me know if you guys want to see swatches or review on these before I change my mind.  I hope to at least like them to keep.

Remember the post last week in which I talked about Smashbox Beauty Sale post? HERE Well I received my package last week only after a few days after I ordered them. To my surprise! my package came so fast and it was only ground shipping! I'm definitely impressed with Smashbox and their service so far! As I said in my earlier post, I ordered 2 items in which were from the 2009 *Wish* Holiday Collection from Smashbox. It was awesome that I got it at a discount price! Smashbox Beauty Blow-Out Sale! 25%-50% off
Ladies get them while you can! Smashbox is having a blow-out beauty sale in their curtain call section of their online website. Most items are from 25% to 50% retail price. Many items listed are items from all of their 2009 collections and various items from their main product line. I'm glad to see that there are some items that I can actually use and buy, instead of the leftover items no one ever wants. Not sure when it ends, but we all know for sure it will not last forever. While you are at it, Smashbox is also offering *FREE SHIPPING* on all orders (no minimums). (I like that!) I had to think about it all day yesterday before I finally gave in and order a few items I had been lemming over the holidays. I wanted more items, but couldn't justify buying everything so, I only bought these two items. Hopefully I will get them soon and post up some pictures of the items! Can't Wait!! Here's what I got: Smashbox Holiday 2009 *Eye Wish Palette* $33 (retail $44) Smashbox Holiday 2009 *Wish for the Perfect Tools Set* $36.75 (retail $49) Run over to Smashbox and get you some nice goodies!!

Smashbox HeartBreaker Collection Spring 2010
This collection is for all you girls who loves "Pink, Girly, Pretties, and everything in between". This spring's collection is super cute and the colors are amazing. Perfect for Spring! Going on theme of "Heartbreaker" all the colors are perfect for breaking hearts and mending hearts! LOL. Collection Details and Swatches: Heartbreaker Eyeshadow Palettes: $34 (2 palettes consisting of 6 colors and shadow palettes) "Kiss n 'Tell and Hot Date" Swatches: Kiss n 'Tell (top row) & Hot Date (bottom row) I love the colors of these palettes. Kiss n 'Tell has pinkish/smoky tones to the palette, whereas Hot Date has warm/cooler tones mixed into the palette. The payoff when I swatched them were pretty good (as known by smashbox). For $36, this is pretty good for a nice size palette with 6 colors that are great all around. Other items from the collection: Heartbreaker Lip Shine Heartbreaker Roller Gloss Lash DNA Mascara Heartbreaker Fusion Soft lights in "Baked Starlight" Heartbreaker Fragrance O-Glow Intuitive Cheek Color Heartbreaker Liquid liner pen
Available online/instore at Sephora and Smashbox simplybeautiful

Look What I GOT!!! Early Christmas Gift!!
Last week, I got a package in the mail from my sis in law and on the box said:
"Coastal Scents"
I opened it up and it was the "88 Warm Palette". I have been eyeing this baby for quite some time now (more like a year) but never got the push to really get it online, even when there was a coupon code. I have so much makeup lying around, I always told myself, I don't need it, it will just be another palette collecting dust and not be used. Also I have plenty of neutrals that I use and own already, "I don't need anymore!". You can say was excited to get the palette, cause it was my first "Coastal Scents" item, and my first palette of those types of palettes. I have been able to swatch some colors and use them on my eyes. So far so good, from what I have see. Not so much fall out, or chalky colors. I can say that majority of the colors can be used in any color combination and look beautiful.
Hopefully in the next few weeks, I can get a few photos as to where I used them on my eyes.

You can purchase this palette from Coastal Scents! Thanks so much SIS! I love it!!
