So just a few weeks ago, my friend Lisa posted a LUSH Cosmetics Haul. She got so many items that I got a little excited. What if that was me? Her LUSH haul made me want to go get some too as I finally knew someone who really liked those items.
So I finally caved in this past weekend and went inside the strongly scented LUSH store. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it past the doors without getting a headache, but surprisingly, it seemed as if the smell lessened as I was in the store. I was helped by a lovely SA (sales associate) who showed me around the store and helped with describing what certain items were for and how to use them. I can tell that the LUSH employees are very helpful and will take their time to explain and demonstrate the products for the customer. That shows very good customer service in my book.
Since I was new to this cosmetics line, I was still unsure of what to get, so I only bought 2 items and got a nice sample the SA gave me. I think it was a good buy; it was something that I had heard and read about.
Onto the HAUL:
the goodies!
Each Peach Massage Bar (as you can tell I've already used it)
Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser/Scrub
Ocean Salt sample
I'll be doing a more in-depth review on which items I liked and didn't like and what I would like to get next for my LUSH haul (I really want more..if you couldn't tell already)
From what I've read and heard, don't be afraid to ask for samples. Especially if you are new, not sure of what to try, and not willing to spend alot on your first try, samples will help you decide whether you like it or not. It was my first time, so it is kinda of hard to buy because I wasn't sure if I was going to like the item.

is each peach massage bar a body butter? or is a soap?
I'm actually thinking to get this one too. haha, I have more LUSH in in next few weeks. very excited and I wish LUSH is in my country too, I wanna visit the store and smell it all!
Awesome haul, Mary! Looking forward to your reviews. =D
I adore Lush! Hope you love what you got! I just recently got Angels on Bare Skin too and I don't know what I used to do without it!
i love that lush soap makes you smell really good after taking a shower/bath! great goodies! :)
Great haul!! LOVE LUSH. I actually bought myself the Angels on Bare Skin Cleanser and the Ocean Salt scrub. I think the AoBS is a little too moisturizing and the Ocean Salt is too strong for me [I use it once every other week.] I think my skin is too sensitive. But you did chose great products to try! I've heard great stuff about those products but they didn't work that well for me personal.
Also, I totally agree with you on how you should get samples first. But I also noticed some LUSH stores are stingy/mean about it. I've been to a total of three: one in Southern CA [Santa Monica] and two in Northern CA [San Francisco and San Jose]. Two out of the three gave a bunch of samples but the San Jose one was horrible. Luckily you got a nice LUSH SA. =]
Its so wierd because there are alot of things or reviews I see on blogger that are so redundant and repetitive, like right now I am totally sick of VIVA Glam Gaga. However, I will never ever get sick of a LUSH Haul. I think its because they have so many different products and they are constantly bringing out new products for hoildays. Keep em coming girly.
Ning-Each peach bar is a massage bar soap..kinda like butter bar but has like massage oils in them.not sure..got to do my research..hehe
Shop/Chomp: reviews coming up! thanks girl!
catherine/coffretgorge: thanks girls, so far so good with the haul
Serena-sorry those items didn't work for you, but I think LUSH do have some items for sensitive skin as well..well do my research.
Niki: glad you liked my lush Haul, hopefully I'll be able to get some more items soon! thanks!
i saw your sample testing blogs w/ pix in my dashboard. you're good to go!!! :)
